Hello, and welcome back to listen. It's Asiah, so listen, it's Asiah. I learned so much during this process. Making this commercial allowed me to learn how to edit on a more advanced stage. I also got to look through old memories while searching for videos and photos to use. In the editing process, I learned how to add sounds on CapCut that were not always there because, at the beginning, I thought I was going to have to record the sound on a different device and play the song from there. That process took me two days to figure out, and lots of frustration was felt. But then I learned that I could move the song from a TikTok video, so I just had to download the video and extract the sound from that video. I also learned about how to rearrange the photos and videos in a certain order. Though it may seem straightforward, I was having problems with glitches. Also, when trying to move things to overlap, it would make my device vibrate, telling me that I could not do that with cer

Last blog I address my song/sound issues and I think I have decided on a sound, that being that I think I will be able to record the song correctly as I have done something like this before and have been practicing. So, I will be sticking with Friends by THE CARTERS. Now the way that I have been cutting my clips is still being moved around as I want it to be a perfect matching with the song. A confusion aspect that I have been struggling with is that I do not want the confusion of the people in the first video to be confused for people that I know now and were in my most recent performance because they were not. Moving on then I would do flash clips of me spending time together with my friends each clip being three to five second long. Next the plan is the have pictures of myself a couple of them being like four or three pictures. These have the calm aspect that I have talked about in an out in the past. The last picture will b

One main focus I wanna talk about is my music choice. As I have talked about many times before I am very friend orientated so the song that I chose would have to represent this. In one of my earlier blog I talked about choosing between two song 3005 by Childish Gambino and another song called Friend by THE CARTERS. The problem with 3005 would be the fact that after listen to the song a couple time it gives the hype aspect that I am going for but I feel as though it is more romantic relationship vibes. There is also the fact that the song has minor inappropriate  language and probably would not sound correct with the clean version at the moment. Hello and welcome back to listen it's Asiah so, listen it's Asiah. In my last post I stated that I was going to change the first pic/video in my commercial. This was stating that I was going to use a video from when I was younger preforming, referencing to how I am still preforming now. After this cut I would shift to a video of me with my friends hanging out. I would do this as a transition because of I could use a video and a picture from the musical from my previous year. This video would be the prefect video to introduce a more hype music into the commercial. I would continue with more hyper pictures to keep the up tone beat about video's and picture. Eventually I would transition into calmer pictures and videos. My videos of me and my friends hanging out that include bodies of water are the most calmest. As I have video of me and my friend at the beach and I would try to transition this with like a wave of water washing over the screen. This would help the aspect of sw

Today I used the editing software CapCut this is one of the editing software's I am think of using, also having this one called video maker on my phone. I have used video maker before but I was suggest CapCut so I decide to test it out. First I tested it out on this video that I made previously I had use video maker for this so I decide to test the same thing on both apps. I needed to speed up the video and see what sounds were available on the apps. While one of the apps I was able to speed my video up to 100x speed the other I was only able to speed up to 32x speed. Next I view over the ability to add sound to the video and the variety I would have to chose from. One of the first platform only gave me the ability to chose form very specific odd songs that I have never heard of. The other offered these song but also with the choice of song that I had heard of. So to start I will be using a video from the end of the musical I did last year. I feel as though in the video it is expressed that with all of my cast mates and crew we had a wonderful time connecting and putting on the musical. This video express apart of me being in theatre. Another video that I am considering putting in is one of me and my friend hanging out at the mall having fun. This expressing my admiration for these friendships as they are a key part of who I am. I also think that it pretty funny as we had all been at the mall for couple of hours. I will also be using a picture of myself when I needed a reference for one of my summer art project, showing my love for art. This picture will be apart of slower calmer part of my life. I was born in the state of Georgia around 2 to 3'oclock in the morning in the month of June making my zodiac sign a Gemini. I have a older sister and a younger brother making me the middle child. I am 16 years old and am junior in high school. Some of my hobbies include selling jewelry from my business and hanging out with my friends whenever I have to chance. I also feel as though I am a empathy for my friends in the sense that I feel as though once I become friends with them I am connected to them spiritually and emotionally. Back to my business, I have always had a entrepreneur bone in my body as I have been selling items sense I was in the third grade.
