Genre research: Action

 Hello and welcome back to listen it's Asiah, so Listen it's Asiah. The time I watched the movie Four Brothers and I will tell you it was a roller-coaster and I will not be doing this genre. One of the reason is because the did a lot of high angled shots where they would then push in the camera and I can't do those. That's not the only reason I don't want to do action it because as stated before I will be acting in it. In this film the acting could not have been better when watch this film I felt the need to cry when they when the were crying the need to my angry and even understood the need for revenge in this film. In doing my research I read something that said that in the film you are forced to feel what these four brothers are feeling and I could not have described it better myself. There are angles in which you feel like you are sitting there with them it is just below their eye level. They also do flash back scenes or more so they reference their mother died and as the try to embody her in their heads she shows in front of them of if she is actually there. She is just there repeating things that she has already stated in the past its like when you hear your mothers voice in your head when you about to do something your are not suppose to do. In the costume department they were also on point as the setting was Detroit, Michigan. In the movie they are seen wearing leather jackets to protect for the cold along with the use of beanies. They also in brace the gang culture and that in implemented in to the movie and is represented through clothing as well. The boss of the gang in decked out in fur and his lackeys' are dress as just well respected men. Compared to that of a lower gang tat is shown and they are dressed in baggy clothes and not well put together.  I feel as though doing action would be two easy of a genre for me to do. For sound in the movie the use the lot of ambient and digenetic sounds. For editing there were a lot of jump cut shot which I plan on putting in my movie regardless of the genre I chose. Also with a action movie there is access to lot a certain props that I don't have the access to so I just don't want to limit myself. but until the next genre bye.
